I mourn the loss of a great man, a friend and a personal idol. I do not consider myself a devout Catholic considering my track record in the recent years. I have been missant of my church obligations and I have succumbed into temptation. Of course, that goes for almost every body else around me. But I read about the the pope and his death and I know that in my deepest of heart, the Roman Catholic in me mourns the loss of the man who devoted his life to the welfare of the church.
I pause and pray.
