all this time...
I hear you in the gust of wind, whispering words of encouragement
watch you in the night sky in contemplation
quench my thirst with the coffee overflowing with emotions
drown myself in the music that calmed our woes
savor the flavors that nourished our souls
walk the shore that kept our feet on the ground
read the stories we made
cried over the stories we tell
laugh at my own mistakes
pray all my heart's desires
the longing never stopped
my yearning never waned
until now.... until now...
my head asks,
why until now...
my body is tired...
and my heart...
my heart is weary...
time to let go....
