The 30th edition of The Global Competitiveness Report series continues to stand out as one of the world's most comprehensive and respected assessment of countries' competitiveness. Produced in collaboration with leading academics and a global network of research institutes, The Global Competitiveness Report 2009-2010 provides users with a comprehensive assessment of their strengths and weaknesses related to national competitiveness using the Global Competitiveness Index as the main methodology. In addition to statistical data the index also features data from the Executive Opinion Survey carried out by the World Economic Forum. ASEAN countries comparative rankings based on the Global Competitiveness Report for 2008-2009 vs. 2009-2010:
Among the 10 ASEAN Countries, we're consistently at the bottom 2 of the countries rated. And from a ranking of 71 in 2008-2009, we backslided and landed on the 87th spot for 2009-2010. Something for presidential candidates to consider, eh?
