Had my OGTT lab test earlier today and they made me drink the nastiest drink ever! It was like drinking concentrated sugar. And you're supposed to drink the whole 75ml in 5 minutes. After drinking, you are not allowed to vomit. You are also refrained from loitering around as any movement or use of energy will interfere with the results. After two hours and two blood extractions, I was able to take my first meal for the day! My only consolation from this nasty experience is the results confirmed that I don't have GDM. Thank God! Then I wouldn't have to worry about going through an OGTT ordeal ever again!
