Listening to Carla Bruni

Over the weekend, the hubby obsessed about finding every bit of information about Carla Bruni after reading of her recent marriage to French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. The wedding is a first of Carla and a third for the president who recently enjoyed new-found freedom after ending an 11-year marriage in October of 2007.

Who is she?

According to AskMen.com: "Carla Bruni is one of the world's most photographed models, and one of the most financially successful." She's hot, hot hot! And proof of that is her string of high-profile romances with Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Kevin Costner, Vincent Perez, Donald Trump and the former French Prime Minister Laurent Fabius, to name a few. Her music is easy to the ears. We've been listening to her two albums lately: Quelqu'un m'a dit (English: Someone Told Me) released in 2003 and No Promises (2007). I've been walking around with Those Dancing Days are Gone in my head for three days now. What's more interesting, though, is that the lyrics of all the tracks in the No Promises album are adaptations of poems of deceased authors! (Dancing Days are Gone are by W. B. Yeats).
